How to find Gelenegedale

We can be found just off the main A846 midway between Bowmore and Port Ellen at the top of the Big Strand ( the longest beach on Islay being around seven miles of sand backed by dunes). Watch for signs for Glenegedale House and reaching top of Glenegedale House drive veer left and An Cuan is the house with the chimney of the two houses looking towards the sea on the right. The house on the left is called Solas. An Cuan and Solas are detached houses with simply stunning westerly views over Lochindaal to Ireland.
