Things we offer

1: Coastal forays-
Exploring the beach, we had no idea that it could be so fruitful. On arriving Jeremy got us to be aware of things we never knew existed, birds calling, (so that's and oystercatcher !) seaweeds, water sources, where to seek out shelter and of course food. Finding it, making a wee fire and cooking it was extraordinary. We still talk about it now.

2: Wildlife safaris
by bicycle or foot.

'When you travel by bike you are in the picture' (so Jez started to tell us) before we were interupted by a pair of Chough flying and calling over us, then landing so close that we didn't need the binoculars provided. We had already tried the walking safari and loved it. So we returned to try out a bike safari. (we are not cyclists) and we weren't disappointed: shore birds, raptors and small birds of the fields were heard, seen and pointed out as well as edible plants, not forgeting the wonderful interpretation and commentary regarding the places we moved through. The cycling was fun too - I may even get my old shopper out the shed!

£30 half day £60 all day including safari lunch. Family safaris £60 (two adults and kids)
