ABERFELDY
Formed inÊ2002, edinburgh's Aberfeldy have released two critically acclaimed albums and a handful of singles on Rough Trade records, including instant classics "love is an arrow" (NME single of the week) and "summer's gone", which have soundtracked many major films, TV shows and commercials.
They have toured all over the world both as headliners and as support to major acts like the Beautiful south, REM, Blondie and James Blunt. Aberfeldy's sound is an enchanting mix of beautiful harmonies and fine folk/pop arrangements supporting the astute lyrics of singer/songwriter Riley Briggs.
Their 3rd album, "In Denial" will be released in july this year.
