Neriby Farm Self Catering Cottage, Islay
Neriby Farm is centrally situated in the Glen, two miles from Bridgend on the Mulindry road and is family run rearing cattle and sheep. The cottage is on Neriby, approximately 500 yards along from our farm road end. It is furnished to a very high standard, providing comfortable accommodation. From the bay window in the spacious lounge, guests can relax and enjoy spectacular views over the surrounding countryside.
Neriby Cottage, in its idyllic setting, is tailor-made for a restful get-away-from-it-all holiday. Study in comfort the abundant wildlife, in particular the many hundreds of geese which winter in our fields, or sit by the patio doors and listen to the soothing sounds of the passing burn and gaze towards the heather clad bens of Islay. The cottage ,suitable for holidays all year round, sleeps six and is very cosy with double glazing, central heating and a charming open Ingleneuk fireplace. It has a four star grading from Visit Scotland.
We do not accommodate children under twelve, or pets.
The large kitchen/dining room is fully equipped, and the adjoining utility room has a washing machine, drier and freezer. There is one double bedroom with an en-suite shower room, two twin bedrooms, bathroom and a small toilet. The cottage, which is totally non smoking, has satellite television, a DVD player and a music centre for entertainment in the evenings. There is also a garage with an access door to the cottage.
If required, groceries can be placed in the cottage for you on day of arrival.
Tariff
The cottage is let on a weekly basis, from 3pm on a Saturday until 10am the following Saturday. Cost is from £440 to £540, depending on season. Please contact for further details
