Bruichladdich Distillery, closed for many a year, purchased by Murray McDavid at the end of 2000 and now about to undergo a complete internal re-modelling under the experienced eye of Jim McEwan who, it will be readily admitted, knows a thing or two about Islay Malts and distillery production.

The buildings are currently in a state of disarray but are about to undergo one of the most radical transformations it is possible to imagine. This transformation will take place concurrently with the ever important task of producing new Bruichladdich Single Malt
