Getting to Islay

BY CAR
From Glasgow, drive to Kennacraig – this journey should take approximately 2.5 hours. Take the A82 up Loch Lomondside, turning onto the A83 at Tarbet and then carry on to Inveraray and Lochgilphead, towards Tarbert on Loch Fyne. Kennacraig ferry terminal is 5 miles from Tarbert on the road to Campbeltown and is where you embark on the Calmac ferry MV Hebridean Isles or MV Isle of Arran to take you to Islay.

BY BUS
A daily bus service operates from The Travel Centre, Buchanan Street Bus Station, Glasgow by Scottish Citylink making a connection with the ferry at Kennacraig. For schedule information contact Travel Centre Buchanan Bus Station 0141-332-7133.

BY FERRY

BY AIR
